This time last semester, Wittenberg freshman Ben McCullough sat in a public speaking class, honing his skills to become a better speaker. Little did anybody know just how much those skills would come into play. McCullough, 19, announced his intentions to run for public office last week.

Fans appeared in T-shirts with their favorite characters on the front. Children ran to their seats with comic books in their hands. One man even dressed up like Captain America. Sound more like a comic book convention than a presentation in a speaker series? Well, maybe this scene just happened to blend those two events into one.
