Dale Williams
Slightly over three weeks ago, Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity hosted their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Fry open to the entire campus. Such an event requires strong management, planning, and commitment. This week, Student Senate is proud to give Dale Williams the "Big-W" Award for his outstanding ability to coordinate a successful event with terrific food and entertainment for the Wittenberg community. As a strong leader who will undoubtedly contribute to the bright future of Lambda Chi Alpha, Dale continues to demonstrate his ability to serve others, as well as take charge of many fraternal events. Congratulations, Dale, and thanks for the enthusiasm you've shown towards contributing to an every-growing and changing fraternity here on campus.
Mark Abell and Frank Mackovitch
As captains of the Ice Hockey Club, Abell and Mackovitch have been a part of the team since they were freshmen. Hockey is an expensive and time consuming sport, and being a club team makes it hard to get proper funds and participation. Their commitment has helped to keep the team going strong over the years. Their efforts, along with the help of their new coach Ian Krauss, brought about the first ever Wittenberg Annual Hockey Tournament on November 13th. They placed third and the event was a big success. Abell and Mackovitch deserve the Big W for their dedication to the hockey program.
