It's that special time of year again. The stores are filled with holiday cheer and poor college students. We spend way too much money on gifts for our families, significant others, and friends. Suddenly, we're spending our entire $50 Wittenberg paychecks on presents that we aren't actually sure will be a hit.
If you're anything like me, your only goal is to spend less than $100 total on gifts. Well, I'm here to guide you towards some of the most necessary websites for your holiday shopping.
First and foremost, I went to Google to provide me with the perfect website for holiday gifts. My first stop was www.stupid.com, where I came across Mother Teresa Breath Spray for a meager $4.99. Right underneath the holiest breath spray this side of the Atlantic was a doll every girl wants to own: the Talking Pregnant Trailer Trash Doll. It's perfect for that lovely lady in your life who is sick of looking at the ever-so-perfect Barbie and wants a taste of reality.
Lastly, perfect for that special man in your life is the Nasty Little Bear that can fart, vomit, and heave upon command. These are just a sampling of some of the great gifts available. Nothing was too expensive, and the best part: there was an entire section dedicated to stupid gifts for dads. There's no better place to shop for that offbeat person in your life.
For the more tasteful person, there is a slew of available websites to order from. At www.findgift.com a series of questions are asked of the visitor to find the perfect gift for that one person who is impossible to shop for. The answers you provide control what comes up on your search result list. I found some great gifts in all different price ranges. It's definitely worth a look. Amazon.com also has a gift guide broken down by a few different qualifiers. It's always a good website to fall back on when you are unsure what to get.
If you are feeling a little generous and want to get that special girl something great for Christmas, there is always Tiffany&Co. whose website is www.tiffany.com.
Even though it has a reputation for being fairly expensive, some of the jewelry from their Tiffany Silver collection is reasonably priced. I found gifts as cheap as $65.
For that special man in your life there is Sharperimage.com. Known for its technology-based creations, this website has the perfect gift for any guy. Although it can get a little pricey, there are some great gifts like the Turbo-Groomer 5.0 and Contour Foam Slippers, both of which are reasonably priced.
Holiday shopping can be extremely excruciating and lead to sleep deprivation and poverty, but there are always places to turn. Don't ignore eBay, Overstock.com, or other discount shopping outlets. There are gifts out there for every price range. Happy shopping!
