Slush, ice, snow and cold who is not ready for a change in the weather? After practicing and conditioning over the winter, the men's and women's spring sports teams are ready for a change in climate. While most student's will be vacationing down south or going home to visit family and friends the spring sports teams will be training in the warmth of Florida and South Carolina weather.

Every year team's travel to different places and condition, practice and play games to prepare them for the challenging season that they have ahead of them.

The men's baseball team will play their first games of the season in Port Charlotte Florida. The baseball team will play nine games against teams from all over the country.

The softball team will also travel to Florida to compete and prepare for their upcoming season. They will be staying in Kissimmee Florida and playing in ten games. They will be facing such competition as, Bluffton, St. Francis, and Washington University.

The softball and baseball teams are not the only ones that will be taking advantage of the warm Florida weather. The men's lacrosse team will take their annual team trip to Clearwater Florida and the women's lacrosse team will head to West Palm Beach Florida.

Instead of heading down to Florida, both the men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Hilton Head South Carolina for the week of spring break. Each team will play in five matches against some very tough competition.

Heading down south and getting out of the Midwest winter definitley seems like a good way to spend spring break. But, do not think that these teams will just be relazing on the beach all day, from morning runs, to workouts, practices and games these teams will be working hard and trying to have some fun in the nice southern sun.
