For this final issue I was going to try and write something inspiring. Something that would really stick with all of you as we end another year here at Wittenberg. For you seniors I thought I could offer some precious words of wisdom that you could hold onto as you enter the real world. Then I remembered, I don't write like that. Unfortunately all I can say to those of us who will be returning to Wittenberg next year is to go and enjoy your summer off because we don't have many left. For you seniors, I'm sorry but I have yet to enter the real world so all I can offer is my best of luck to each and every one of you. I want to tell you how much all of you will be missed but I know that I wouldn't be able to find the words if I tried.
To those of you who I knew personally, thank you. Thank you for being a support system, a sister, a friend, and a guide. You have given me something strive for and I can't even begin to imagine what I'm going to do without each and every one of you here next year.
To those of you who I don't know personally, I know that there are plenty of students who lives were impacted by your presence. So thank you on behalf of all of those who don't get the chance to publish their gratitude.
And finally, to this years senior Torch staff. We have been through it all this year and I can't possibly tell you how much you all mean to me. You handled yourselves professionally and should be proud. No one will ever know or understand how hard you all worked this year and I'll never be able to express how grateful I am for that. Late nights, last minute interviews, and short deadlines; you handled it all and more and you never once complained. I will never know how I managed to get so lucky.
So good luck to all of you and know that you are leaving the 'Witt Bubble' in good hands. We will do our best to stand in your shoes and reach the bar you set so high fo all of us.
All the best,
Jocelin
