Men's Soccer continues down the unbeaten path after knocking off Centre this past weekend by a score of 2-1. Junior midfielder Brian Glenn struck first for the Tigers, scoring his third goal of the season. Senior Shane Price scored the game winner on a header, putting the Tigers ahead 2-1. Freshman goal keeper Steven Fitzpatrick recorded three saves in the win.
The Women's Soccer team is also still undefeated after recording a tie this past weekend against Centre. Senior midfielder Suzanne Medwid scored the Tigers' lone goal in the ninth minute of play. The Tiger defense was able to hold off Centre's attack until the 81st minute when Centre evened the score. The game went into double overtime and ultimately ended in a tie.
The Field Hockey team trounced NCAC rival Oberlin this past weekend by a score of 8-1. Sophomore Tori Casanta led the Tigers in scoring with five goals and two assists, adding up to seven total points. Sophomore Boo Vernon also added one goal and one assist. The Tigers are currently 2-2 and look to continue winning this weekend against Sewanee.
Men's Golf finished fourth at the Denison Fall Invitational. Freshman Ricky Boerner led the Tigers, finishing third place individually shooting a 72 -70 on the and recording a 142 overall.
The Men's Tennis team opened their season with a 5-4 victory over Northwestern Ohio last weekend. Sophomore Andy Lamb and Freshman Derek de Rie won in the No. 2 doubles by a score of 8-6. Lamb also won his No. 5 Singles match by scores of 6-3 and 6-4 respectively.
